When it is your birthday in Room 206, you get a desktop full of treats.
Mrs. Standlee gives you a birthday pencil, a bookmark, a sticker, a crown and a card.
You also get your name in celebratory fashion on the whiteboard.
As for treats, please bring cookies and juice, if you choose to bring anything. Cupcakes with frosting makes a HUGE mess for the janitors on our carpeting. Cake is just not going to work. Ice cream bars are another idea, but harder to get to for the teacher. Additionally, 3:10 is the best time for the treats to be shared with the classroom. Please remember we have two students with nut allergies in our classroom.
If you would prefer not to go with food, we would love to have a book donated to our classroom in your child's honor. Mrs. Standlee would write on the inside jacket who the book was from and what the date.
