Mowing Our "Lawns"

We planted two types of grass: rye and alfalfa to compare and contrast their growing cycles.

The mustard seeds are growing nicely and looking healthy.

We measured both grasses to see which one grew longer.

Was the rye or the alfalfa greener?

Next, we mowed our lawns to see what would happen.

We put the clippings in a container to see if our prediction that they would die since they are not getting any water or nutrients would be confirmed or denied.
